What: Aircraft Interiors Expo
Where: Hamburg, Germany
When: Tuesday 5th – Thursday 7th April
If you have an interest in aircraft interiors Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg is the place to be to learn about aircraft interiors and tomorrow’s designs. Over 500 suppliers exhibit and it covers every spectrum from low-cost travel up to private airplanes.

Where: Milan, Italy
When: Tuesday 12th – Sunday 17th April
Celebrating it’s 50th anniversary this year this exhibition held at the Milan Showgrounds is famous among the interior design community. The statistics can be daunting: last year saw over 1,300 exhibitors with nearly 300,000 visitors – and attendance isn’t for the faint hearted, but it is ‘the’ place to make interior discoveries.
What: St Paul’s and the City Churches
Where: City of London, London
When: Thursday 14th April
The World Monuments Fund is running a one day exploration tour of the churches of Sir Christopher Wren, including his masterpiece St Paul’s Cathedral. Gavin Stamp will guide and educate you through the architecture of Wren who was the leading post fire architect of London.
What: Turner Contemporary Gallery
Where: Margate, Kent
When: Saturday 16th April
Designed by Sir David Chipperfield the long awaited Turner Contemporary gallery finally opens in Margate. The gallery celebrates William Turner’s association with the town that he first visited when aged 11 and the seas and skies around Margate inspired him throughout his painting life.
What: Grand Designs Live
Where: ExCel, London
When: Saturday 30th April – Sunday 9th May
Grand Designs Live is firmly estabilished as a great exhibition to visit if you want to learn about contemporary design and technology especially if you are building your own home. The show has over 550 exhibitors, all personally vetted by Kevin McCloud and the Grand Designs team.
