4 products for 4 rooms
I’m running a series of blog posts, each covering product recommendations. These are products I have usually specified for clients, so I know they work well. There will be 4 products for 4 different rooms.
Living
After searching high and low for a sofa to meet a clients requirements we recently purchased the Aspen sofa from Conran. The simple design was perfect for their London apartment, the sofa is very stylish with the ability to dress up or down as needed. We purchased it in the lovely grey felt finish – the client is delighted.
Bathing
We recently required a shower screen with minimal fittings for a wet room. We used The Shower Lab to supply a large screen fixed to the floor and one wall. We specified it to be 1m wide, the widest width that does not require a top bar. The glass for the screen is also specially coated to ensure ongoing maintenance and cleaning is kept to a minimum.
Sleeping
I discovered the Ruché bed from Ligne Roset at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show while on Blog Tour. I love the style of it, combining a traditional solid wood bed with a modern take on quilting. Available in an extensive collection of fabrics including leathers you can create a very individual bed – you could even have red-stained beech legs!
Outdoor
The choice for garden furniture is often very limited so I love the new Faulks range from Marks and Spencer. Designed by Conran this chair offers a perfect place to sit in the garden and relax. Manufactured from solid teak it could also be used in a conservatory and is complemented by a full range of exterior furniture.

The bed looks so unique. I liked the idea of having the base and headboard of the same quilted like finish.
