Living

When you have decorated and furnished your home you can then relax and enjoy it. Music often plays a big part of this – and this is where a Sonos system is a great purchase. The system provides a wireless Hi Fi system that plays music from your iTunes library or any one of the music streaming services. You can purchase multi room systems and even control it from your iPad!

Kitchen

Who wants to boil the kettle to make a cup of coffee when you can use a built-in coffee machine? Miele do one of the best around which takes Nespresso capsules – every man can become a barista in his own home with this machine. The machine will also warm and froth your milk – Latte, cappuccino or flat white?

Bathing

Through my experience designing many client’s bathrooms I find women often like to lounge in the bath, while men want the best power shower around. Hansgrohe make some of the best showers fittings available. If you can, make your shower enclosure as large as you can and then install a Raindance shower head. Some of the Hansgrohe Raindance range will even mix air with the water to give the ultimate showering experience.

Garden

Cliques aside it’s a well-known fact that many men love to barbecue! Despite claims that charcoal is the only way to go modern man generally prefers a gas barbecue. Outback are one of the best around – built to last and also well designed, the Spectrum model shown is also a Which best buy. This model now has pride of place in my own garden, we just need some barbecue weather!
