4 products for 4 rooms – LDF special
I’m running a series of blog posts, each covering product recommendations. This time, with the start of the London Design Festival this month we are featuring a product from an exhibitor at the 4 main shows.
Living
Decorex exhibitor Ochre has been a firm favourite of mine for many years. The contemporary style of their products, with a hint of glamour thrown in, really appeals to me. The company has showrooms in London and New York. The Eternal Dreamer sofa below is a great upholstered piece – the perfect sofa for relaxing after a hard day.
Cooking
If you long for a traditional style cooker but are also a technology freak the new AGA iTotal Control is a perfect choice. On display at 100% Design the cooker can be controlled by your smartphone, tablet or PC. Simply send a text message to switch the oven on – or you can use a smartphone app to control the cooker remotely. This is traditional style cooking for the 21st century!
Dining
Showing at Tent again this year is the company all about pattern, Mini Moderns. The Camberwell Beauty wallpaper below would be a perfect choice for a dining room. If you have the luxury of a dedicated dining room I always suggest it is decorated with a rich scheme that allows dinner to become very atmospheric. Team this wallpaper with beautiful tableware and candle for a beautiful dining room.
Sleeping
Exhibiting at Designjunction this year are the furniture company Case. Working with a range of designers Case is a great source for well made furniture. The Loop bed shown above was designed by Nazanin Kamali and is complimented by a full furniture range. New products from Marina Bautier and Matthew Hilton will be released at Design Junction.
