4 products for 4 rooms … living sleeping cooking bathing

November 21, 2011

I’m running a series of blog posts, each covering product recommendations. These are products I have usually specified for clients, so I know they work well. There will be 4 products for 4 different rooms.

Living

We recently dressed a property for sale which had a couple of empty fireplaces. To add a touch of warmth we bought some decorative logs from the The Little Log Company. Sourced from FSC managed sites throughout the UK it finished the fireplaces perfectly for a very small cost.

Sleeping

Finding good quality children’s furniture isn’t always easy, especially if you want something that will last as they grow up. The Children’s Furniture Company has a great range of painted furniture that we recently suggested to a client. The furniture is available in the very fashionable French Grey shown or another 12 colours – including Marshmallow Pink and Sailing Boat Blue.

Cooking

Miele are widely recognised to be one of the best kitchen appliance manufacturers. We have recently designed a kitchen for a client in Islington that contains all Miele appliances. Our client visited the Miele Gallery in London for a cooking demonstration to help her choose the best equipment for her. Attending the demonstration now allows her to apply for an extended warranty on her appliances.

Bathing

After finishing a children’s bathroom a client asked us to source some personalised towels for her three children. Notonthehighstreet.com has a towel available in five different colours personalised with colourful applique. No more fighting over towels – and a lovely colourful addition to a bathroom.

I recently wrote an update about Miele on my blog (how I found this post) and I have to say I agree with everything you’re saying. I’m glad I did the search because I found a new site to read. 🙂
