4 products for 4 rooms

September 17, 2012

I’m running a series of blog posts, each covering product recommendations. These are products I have usually specified for clients, so I know they work well. There will be 4 products for 4 different rooms.

Adding large scale fittings to a living room can add a real sense of drama and impact to the decorating scheme. We are currently refurbishing an apartment in Highgate and will use the Big Boy lamp from Loaf to help set the mood. Constructed in mango wood with a weathered finish this lamp stands an impressive 185cm high.

Clarissa Hulse produce the most wonderful colourful and luxurious wallpaper that are perfect for a dining room. We have recently specified their Reeds range for a current project to create a formal dining room for a client. In candlelight the effect will be amazing, especially when combined with the antique mirrors we are installing.

Samuel Heath have recently launched the very stylish Style Moderne range inspired by the Art Deco period. The new collection combines design elements from the period  and features a full range of bathroom fittings. Available in polished nickel, chrome plate and antique gold the gloss black chrome levels and cross top elements add a modern top to a range that is sure to become a classic.

Designed for children’s bedrooms the fabulous wallpaper of Paperboy has long been a favourite of mine. The company was started when a mum couldn’t find any smart stylish wallpaper for her boys bedroom. The collection has now to include 6 different designs, include the fantastic “ere be dragons’ design above.
