Steuart Padwick

June 4, 2013

I’ve been a fan of the Steuart Padwick brand since it was launched at 100% Design back in 2009. The range of furniture very much appeals to me and I have often specified it for client projects. Combining well crafted products with quirky design elements Steuart delivers well made furniture that will last for many years. At the recent Clerkenwell Design Week it was great to see his product range expanded as he added bright colour to some of his favourite products.

The Belly Desk is a very simple styled desk with a painted top that contrasts with 4 study oak legs to create a beautiful piece of furniture. This desk was previously available in a grey painted finish from stock but this exciting green has now been added to the range. Perfect for adding a splash of colour to home offices that are often simple in design – this piece of furniture would certainly inspire you to be creative.

Another favourite product with some newly added colour is the Double Cross table. This ingenious table can serve as a dining table when opened out, or you can fold it together to become a smart console table. If you are short of space at home but occasionally require a large dining table this could be your perfect solution. Previously available with yellow legs this very bright orange is now a standard option – or get creative and ask them to make it in any colour you want.

That Double Cross table is very well-designed its multi-purpose, I started to like Steuart Padwick products.

Like the Double Cross table – good idea. I’m so tight on space but struggle to find an elegant solution.
