Clarissa Hulse first UK shop opens

November 11, 2013

As a long time fan of Clarissa Hulse it was great to hear that she has opened her first UK store in Islington. As it’s local to me I popped in over the weekend to have a look and was really pleased I did – a feast of colour and wonderful textures greeted me!

Clarissa HulseLocated in Corsica Street the new store is a couple of minutes walk from Highbury and Islington tube station, and is located at the front of the Clarissa Hulse design studio. The full selection of their products is on display in the shop including lampshades, cushions, throws and home accessories. The range shows the diversity of their home brand which was started a little over 10 years ago by Clarissa.

The additional of silk and textures into your interior promotes a feeling of luxury and high-end style. The lampshades from Clarissa Hulse have a beautiful look and feel and could easily work in interiors both contemporary and traditional. If you are scared of using bold colours on your walls this is a great way to add a pop of colour that will bring your interiors alive. The lampshades are available in a wide variety of colours including orchid, magenta, peacock and turmeric.

The combination of colours on these cushions and throws is great inspiration for your home decorating, especially as blue has become a very popular colour again. Combine it with the yellows and patterns shown for your own winning decoration scheme.

Do head along to the new Clarissa Hulse shop to see the whole range, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed – and check out the home accessories range, maybe it’s time to start your Christmas shopping?
