Design by Us – BallRoom

June 3, 2014

Lighting is such an important piece of any interior design project and I am constantly on the hunt for new products. I love to use different light fittings for each client project as we don’t believe in a house style – each and every client is unique so their project should be.

I’m currently designing a large reception room for a project in Islington and wanted some smart pendant lights to cluster in the corner of the room. Although I like the single bulb look it’s not right for this room so was really pleased when I found the BallRoom fitting from Design by Us. The glass dome around the bulb softens the style and it is perfect for our project.

Available in four colours, green smoke rose and amber, the fittings are hand blown and hand painted. The fittings are available in both 19cm and 33cm in diameter. Design by Us say it is their “interpretation of the very neglected glass pendant” – well it’s definitely not neglected any more! I can’t wait to use this fitting on our project, and share some pictures with you. More information is available on the Design by Us website.

Lovely use of crystal hanging lights….contemporary theme is awesome with straight line furniture and also i like the paintings you used to hang on this wall. Must say nice interior designs.
